Rats? That is not news for Concord Tenants.

A recent article featured on Contra Costa Times explained the frustration some Pleasant Hill neighbors feel when trying to get Contra Costa Vector Control to take their run in with RATS seriously.

The same frustrations are apparent when speaking with tenants living in the Monument Blvd area in Concord; Rats, Roaches, and BED BUGS are common in the multi family buildings that many families call home.

The city of Concord has an inspection program for these apartments however taking into account the size of the current infestation is not clear that the program is being used efficiently.

Tenants are not waiting around any longer and will be taking their complaints to the appropriate city officials to demand a solution.

A planning meeting is schedule Tomorrow, Tuesday August 27 at Monument Crisis Center starting at 6:00 pm.
