Map: Where Vehicles Were Stolen in Concord Last Month

There were 65 vehicle thefts in Concord in June, 2013, up from 56 the year before and 52 in 2011. Here's where the vehicles were taken.

Vehicle thefts in Concord are higher this year so far compared to the same time period in 2012.

Last year, there had been 271 cases of grand theft auto in Concord by June. This year, the number is 279. Only the months of February and March had fewer vehicle thefts than the same months last year.

There were 65 vehicle thefts in Concord last month, up from 56 the year before and 52 for June, 2011.

Concord police say the most targeted cars are 1985 to 2005 model year Hondas, Toyotas, Nissans and Acuras. Last month, Concord PD gave out free "club" steering wheel locks to owners of these high-risk cars in Concord.
