A Nevada man was arrested for fatally shooting his caregiver, who was a Concord resident, according to the Contra Costa Times.
Douglas County authorities say Melvin Norlund, 81, shot Catherine Costanza, 51, during an argument in Gardnerville, Nevada on Thursday. Norlund reportedly called 9-1-1. Costanza succumbed to her injuries, according to police. Norlund is in police custody in the Douglas County Jail for suspicion of murder. Police are investigating the incident.
