'We Made It!' — Concord Cop Celebrates SF to LA Bike Ride

Concord Police Officer Todd Nunn was among more than 2,000 riders who made the seven-day AIDS/LifeCycle bicycle trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

A Concord police officer has successfully completed the 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles as part of the AIDS/LifeCycle fundraiser.

Todd Nunn raised $5,200 for AIDS/HIV awareness and prevention, according to his AIDS/LifeCycle page.

More than 2,000 cyclists made the ride this year, says AIDS/LifeCycle, and the total fundraising amount was a record-breaking $14.2 million.

Nunn is featured in the celebratory, "We Made It!" video, stating that he participates in honor of his mother, who died of the disease in 1995. This is Nunn's second AIDS/LifeCycle ride.
