Concord Gets Jazzed for Final Summer Concert

Swing over to Todos Santos Plaza Wednesday evening for Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and is the last in the Music and Market summer series.

All good things must come to an end — but Concord's is going out swinging.

The final concert of the season brings Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums to Todos Santos Plaza for a kick-your-shoes-off jazz and swing session.

This summer's concert series has been blessed by perfect weather and a vibrant crowd ready to get up and dance. Thursday will be no exception. Expect clear skies and warm temperatures — and Concordians and visitors hopping around to jump blues, swing, and jazz inspired by the '30s, '40s and '50s.

The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m.

On the periphery, will be available at Concord Farmers' Market, which starts at the earlier time of 4 p.m. and packs up when the music stops.

Parking spaces and garages fill up, so come early — or take a stroll, bike ride or bus to the plaza.
