Soccer: Clayton Valley Girls and Boys Hosts First Round NCS Matchups Wednesday
Playing at home, the Clayton Valley girls face Liberty at 5 p.m. and the boys go up against Mt. Eden at 7 p.m. in a double-header Wednesday.
Since they both won the Diablo Valley Athletic Leage title, the Clayton Valley High boys and girls soccer teams knew they were going to be in the North Coast Section playoffs.
The only unknown for the soccer program was the seeding for the two squads and who they would play.
The boys' (15-2-5) were granted the No. 6-seed and will matchup against No. 11-seeded Mt. Eden (15-5-4).
The girls' (15-5-2) were seeded 10th and must prepare to host No. 7-seeded Liberty (13-2-9).
Both teams will play at Clayton Valley High under the lights at 5 p.m. (girls) and 7:00 p.m. (boys).
