Register By Friday For Adult Coed Kickball
Concord's second season of the new sport begins in March.
Friday is the registration deadline for the Next Big Thing in adult league sports.
For the spring season, the city of Concord organizes its second season of coed adult kickball under the lights at Willow Pass Community Park. The first season — last fall — featured five teams each on two different nights.
for Sunday, Tuesday and Friday, and Tuesday is filled up except for a spot for one team, said Kathie Leavitt, coordinator for Concord Parks and Recreation.
Signup is mostly for organized teams. The city also maintains a "free agent list" for individual players looking for a team. Games start in March. For information, see the website or call (925) 671-3423.
