De La Salle avenges earlier loss while Dublin boys lose to Miramonte and Carondelet crushes Monte Vista

Here are some of the scores from high school basketball action in the East Bay on Tuesday night.

BOYS

De La Salle 69  Monte Vista 39

De La Salle High got revenge for an earlier loss by dismantling Monte Vista High, 69-39.

The Spartans led 25-16 at halftime and then outscored Monte Vista 42-23 in the second half.

De La Salle was led by senior guard Adami Udenyl's 26 points and junior guard Elliott Pitts' 23 points and six blocked shots.

The Spartans are now 19-2 overall and 8-1 in league. Their only loss was in early January to the Mustangs. They've won nine in a row since.

Monte Vista falls to 15-6 overall and 7-2 in league. They had won six straight.

Foothill 72  San Ramon Valley 58

Foothill High steadily wore down San Ramon Valley High to take a 72-58 victory. 

The Falcons built a 37-28 lead at halftime and extended that margin to 55-36 by the end of the third period.

Foothill was led by junior guard Steven Patrick, who scored 22 points. Junior guard Logan Louks paced San Ramon Valley with 29 points.

Foothill is now 8-13 overall and 4-5 in league. They had lost three of their previous four games.

California 74  Livermore 60

California High built an early lead on their way to defeating Livermore High, 74-60.

California went into the locker room with a 37-26 halftime lead and then played Livermore evenly in the second half.

The Grizzlies are now 10-11 on the season and 4-5 in league play. They had lost five in a row.

Livermore falls to 6-15 overall and 0-9 in league. They've lost five straight.

San Ramon Valley is also 8-13 overall and 3-6 in league. They've now lost three of four.

DFAL

Miramonte 61  Dublin 56

Miramonte High built up a steady lead and then hang on to defeat Dublin High, 61-56.

Miramonte led 24-22 at halftime, then stretched their lead to 46-38 at the end of the third quarter. The Gaels cut into the lead in the final period but couldn't overtake the Matadors.

Dublin was led by junior guard Jamir Andrews, who scored 28 points.

The Gaels are now 15-7 overall and 6-2 in league. They had won eight of their previous nine games.

Miramonte improves to 14-7 and 4-3 in league.

Las Lomas 82  Alhambra 41

Las Lomas High got out of the gate quickly and coasted to a 82-41 victory over Alhambra High.

The Knights led 45-17 at halftime and never looked back.

Las Lomas is now 14-8 overall and 5-3 in league play. They've won three in a row.

Alhambra falls to 5-17 on the season and 0-8 in league.

DVAL

College Park 54  Concord 49

College Park High cemented its hold on first place with a 54-49 win over Concord High.

The Falcons led 32-26 at halftime. Concord cut that lead to 40-37 going into the final period, but College Park wouldn't let the Minutemen get any closer.

Concord falls to 15-7 overall and 5-3 in league.

College Park is now 15-7 and 7-1 in league.

Northgate 67  Mt. Diablo 49

Northgate High made easy work of Mt. Diablo High, 67-49.

The Broncos led 15-0 after the first period and 27-13 at the half. They then opened it up in the third quarter, taking a 51-21 lead.

Northgate improves to 13-8 overall and 5-2 in league. They've won four straight.

Mt. Diablo falls to 4-16 on 1-6 in league play.

Non-League

Dougherty Valley 56  Clayton Valley 49

In a see-saw battle, Dougherty Valley High outlasted Clayton Valley High, 56-49.

Clayton Valley led after the first period, 14-8, but Dougherty Valley came back to take a 21-18 halftime lead.

Clayton Valley surged in the third quarter to take a 37-35 lead before Dougherty Valley put the game away in the final period.

Dougherty Valley improves to 13-8 overall and 3-5 in league. They had lost four out of their previous five.

Clayton Valley falls to 13-8 and 4-3 in league. They had won five of their past six.

GIRLS

DFAL

Miramonte 93  Dublin 62

Miramonte High remained undefeated by crushing Dublin High, 93-62.

Miramonte led 20-17 after the first period, but they then scored 31 points in the second quarter to seize a 51-30 advantage. They added another 30 points in the third period.

Miramonte is now 21-0 overall and 7-0 in league.

Dublin drops to 12-8 overall and 4-4 in league. They've lost two straight.

Alhambra 60  Las Lomas 47

Alhambra High steadily pulled ahead of Las Lomas High as they posted a 60-47 victory.

Alhambra led 34-26 at halftime and then slowly lengthed their margin in the second half.

Alhambra is now 11-11 overall and 2-6 in league play. They'd lost four in a row.

Las Lomas falls to 8-14 and 0-8 in league. They've dropped nine straight. The Knights were led in this game by sophomore Zoe McGlynn, who scored 24 points.

EBAL

Carondelet 72  Monte Vista 43

Cardondelet High crushed Monte Vista High, 72-43, to all but wrap up the league title.

Carondelet jumped to a 25-7 first quarter led. The Mustangs closed the gap to 39-27 at halftime, but the Cougars dominated the second half.

Carondelet is now 17-3 overall and 9-0 in league play. They've won five in a row.

Monte Vista falls to 17-4 and 7-2 in league. They'd won six straight coming into the game.

California 45  Livermore 43

California High surprised Livermore High by escaping with a 45-43 victory.

California led 28-24 at halftime, then built up a 39-29 lead going into the final period. Livermore stormed back in the fourth quarter but came up a bit short.

The Grizzlies are now 8-13 overall and 4-5 in league. They've won two in a row after losing their previous four.

Livermore falls to 11-10 and 4-5 in league. They've dropped three of their past four games.

Granada 45  Amador Valley 40

Granada High slipped past Amador Valley High, 45-40.

The game was tight throughout. Granada led 22-19 at halftime and the two teams battled closed all through the second half.

Granada improves to 14-7 overall and 4-5 in league play. They had lost five out of six games before tonight.

Amador Valley falls to 13-8 overall and 3-6 in league. They've dropped three straight.

Foothill 64  San Ramon Valley 35

Foothill High coasted to a 64-35 victory over San Ramon Valley High.

The Falcons led 32-15 at halftime and never looked back.

Foothill was led by senior Danielle LaMarche, who scored 24 points.

The Falcons are now 10-11 overall and 5-4 in league. They've won three straight.

San Ramon Valley falls to 6-14 and 0-9 in league. They've lost 11 in a row.

DVAL

Northgate 74  Mt. Diablo 24

Northgate High pummeled Mt. Diablo High to remain undefeated in league play.

The Broncos jumped out to a 22-7 first period lead and then went into the locker room at halftime with a 49-12 advantage.

Senior guard Greer Kleber paced Northgate with 22 points.

The Broncos are now 12-9 overall and 7-0 in league. They've won seven of their past eight games.

Mt. Diablo falls to 3-15 and 1-6 in league play.

Berean Christian 64  Ygnacio Valley 19

Berean Christian High cruised to a 64-19 victory over Ygnacio Valley High.

The Eagles had a 25-6 lead after the first period and never looked back.

Berean Christian is now 15-7 on the season and 6-2 in league. They've won three of their past four games.

Ygnacio Valley is 0-18 overall and 0-8 in league.
