Northgate 68 Clayton Valley 57
Northgate High steadily pulled away from Clayton Valley High to capture this league battle, 68-57.

The Broncos led 28-25 at the half and with a big third quarter increased their lead to 50-39 entering the final period.
Northgate was led by senior guard Connor Jean, who scored 27 points.
The Broncos are now 12-8 overall and 4-2 in league play. They've won three straight.
Clayton Valley falls to 12-7 overall and 3-3 in league. They had won four in a row coming into the game.
College Park 73 Berean Christian 63
College Park High used a strong second half to defeat Berean Christian High, 73-63.
The Falcons led at half 33-31, then steadily pulled away in the second half to secure the victory.
Berean Christian was led by Tyler Charrette, who poured in 28 points.
The Eagles are now 13-7 overall and 4-2 in league play.
EBAL
Foothill 40 Amador Valley 38
Foothill High surprised Amador Valley High with a come-from-behind 40-38 victory.
Amador Valley led at the half, 22-16, and held a nine-point advantage heading into the final period. However, Foothill outscored the Dons, 17-6, in the fourth quarter.
Foothill improves to 7-12 overall and 3-4 in league play. They snapped a two-game losing streak.
Amador Valley drops to 12-7 overall and 4-3 in league. They had won four in a row.
Granada 58 Livermore 53
In a surprisingly tight battle, Granada High outlasted Livermore High, 58-53.
The Matadors led 26-24 at half and 41-38 after three quarters while edging past the Cowboys.
Granada is now 11-6 overall and 4-3 in league play. This was their second straight win.
Livermore falls to 6-13 overall and 0-7 in league. They've lost three in a row.
Monte Vista 64 San Ramon Valley 61
Monte Vista High got an unexpected tough battle from San Ramon Valley High before coming away with a 64-61 victory.
The Wolves led 29-25 at half and held a two-point margin going into the final period before Monte Vista edged ahead of them.
Monte Vista is now 14-5 overall and 6-1 in league. They've won five in a row.
San Ramon Valley is 7-12 overall and 2-5 in league. They've dropped four of their past five games.
De La Salle 68 California 33
De La Salle High blitzed California High, 68-33, to continue their winning ways.
The Spartans led 33-17 at half and then buried the Grizzlies by outscoring them 21-3 in the final period.
De La Salle was led once again by senior guard Adami Udenyl, who scored 20 points.
The Spartans are now 17-2 overall and 6-1 in league play. They've on seven straight.
California is 9-11 overall and 3-4 in league.
GIRLS
DVAL
Northgate 64 Clayton Valley 56
Northgate High won this big league showdown over Clayton Valley High, 64-56.
The Broncos were led by junior guard Meghan Blough, who poured in 28 points.
Northgate is now 11-9 overall and in command of the DVAL with a 6-0 league record. They have won six of their past seven games.
Clayton Valley falls to 10-10 overall and 4-2 in league play. The Eagles had won five straight coming into the game.
EBAL
Livermore 49 Granada 43
Livermore High came on strong in the final period to defeat Granada High, 49-43.
Granada led by seven points heading into the fourth quarter, but Livermore outscored them 23-10 in the final period.
Livermore is now 11-8 overall and 4-3 in league. They've won two out of their past three.
Granada falls to 13-6 overall and 3-4 in league. They've dropped four of their past five games.
Monte Vista 47 San Ramon Valley 37
Monte Vista High steadily wore down San Ramon Valley High, 47-37, to continue their winning ways.
The Mustangs led 25-19 at the half and kept gradually increasing their margin throughout the second half.
Monte Vista is now 16-3 overall and 6-1 in league play. They've won five in a row.
San Ramon Valley is now 7-12 overall and 0-7 in league. They have lost nine straight.
Carondelet 89 California 47
Cardondelet High crushed California High, 89-47, to continue their domination.
The Cougars led 50-24 at half and cruised the rest of the way.
Carondelet was led by sophomore Natalie Romeo, who tallied 18 points.
The Cougars are now 15-3 overall and 7-0 in league play. They've won seven of their past eight games.
California is now 6-13 overall and 2-5 in league. They've lost four straight.
MVAL
Mission San Jose 52 Newark Memorial 40
Mission San Jose High continued to roll past opponents by defeating Newark Memorial High, 52-40.
Mission San Jose led 26-18 at the half and 43-24 after three quarters.
They are now 19-1 overall and 6-0 in league play.
Newark Memorial falls to 10-10 overall and 3-3 in league. They've lost three of their past four games.
