Top seeded De La Salle High will take on giant killing California High for the NCS Division I baseball championship on Saturday evening.
The Spartans (19-7) advanced to the final round by defeating fifth seeded Granada High, 9-3, on Wednesday afternoon.
The 10th seeded Grizzlies (15-12) pulled off another upset in their semifinal game on Wednesday. They defeated third seeded Monte Vista High, 5-2.
In the quarterfinals, Cal High edged second seeded Deer Valley High, 8-7.
De La Salle defeated Cal High twice during the regular season.
The championship game starts at 7 p.m. Saturday at the O. Co. Coliseum in Oakland.
