Black Friday Madness: There's an App for That

Get out your smart phone to start shopping.

Are you still clipping Black Friday ads and stuffing them in your wallet - only to find the right one isn't there when you get to the store?

There are lots of deals out there, and they're not always easy to track.

But there are apps that can help:

Brad's Deals Black Friday App lets you collect the deals in which you're interested and the site curator offers suggestions on the best deals available in multiple categories.

If bargain shopping isn't enough of a rush, Shopkick gives coupons on top of Black Friday prices for checking in at store locations, sort of like Four Square for deal-a-holics.

FatWallet also lets you compare deals and zero in on all the stores you want to hit in a specific location, such as those that do not require getting on the highway.

If you're all about Cyber Monday, BuyVia lets you compare deals from several merchants for one or more specific items, helping you to score better than the average bargain-hunter in the online holiday shopping sweepstakes.

SnipSnap goes directly to the situation mentioned above, removing those coupons in your wallet or pocket and putting them on your smart phone via photos you snap of them, perhaps prettily arranged on your kitchen table.

Coupon Sherpa lists scads of stores and the coupons they're offering. With a click, the coupon appears with a barcode that is scannable at the checkout counter.

TGI Black Friday helps shoppers organize deals by priority and location for a full-scale Bataan-like march through the holiday shopping centers near and far.

Black Friday App is for the shopper more set on keeping track of spending less than remembering cleverly named apps.

NexTag Shopping is now in app form, allowing you to compare prices on multiple products via smartphone. You can also use it to take pictures of a barcode or item and find it instantly on the web.

Where do you find Black Friday deals?
