Three Concord Students Win Comcast Scholarships

Congratulations to Edward Estrada, Miranda Lutz and Teresa Perez.

Three Concord high schoolers are due to be honored for their leadership and achievements June 15 at the state Capitol in Sacramento.

Edward Estrada of De La Salle High, Miranda Lutz of Clayton Valley High and Teresa Perez of Crossroads High are among 190 California high school scholarship winners in Comcast’s Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program.

Most will get $1,000 scholarships. Two lucky students will be surprised with $10,000 scholarships and 20 of the winning students will have their names drawn for a laptop computer to use at college.
