This Weekend: 37th Concord Family Carnival

Front parking lot of Concord High School to transform April 20 through 22. Will you go?

Starting Friday, the 37th annual Concord Family Carnival will take place in the front parking lot of Concord High, at 4200 Concord Blvd.

If you go:

Show up bettween 3:30 and 11 p.m. Friday, April 20;

11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 21;

and 12 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 22.

Admission is $1 per person at the gate. You can, alternatively, bring one canned food item per person.

Mt. Diablo High School's Jazz ensemble will rock the stage from 1 p.m. Saturday, then hand off the mics to the Pleasant Hill Middle School Orchestra at 3 p.m. 

Make sure to also come Sunday, when the Concord High Jazz Group will dominate the stage at 1 p.m., before letting Ygnacio Valley High Jazz Band at 3 p.m.
