All presentations are free and open to the public. A Gardening Help Table with resource materials will also be available. We encourage you to bring in your home & garden problems & questions, and talk with a Master Gardener (10 til Noon)!

The Garden is located adjacent to the Pittsburg Health Center on the south side of East Leland Road about halfway between Loveridge Road and Gladstone Drive. Use the Pittsburg Health Center entrance off East Leland Road to access the Garden. Seating is available.
About the LMCHD Community Garden

The Los Medanos Community Healthcare District (LMCHD) developed its Community Garden in Pittsburg to help build a healthier community. Since 2010, the Garden has provided plots to both individuals and groups, including the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program through which groups of gardeners care for a plot. Several plots are dedicated to growing produce that is donated to local soup kitchens and food pantries.
Contra Costa Master Gardeners provided consultation and support during the original development phase. We now offer ongoing education to local gardeners, and partner with LMCHD to facilitate educational events that are open to the public.
