Michael J. Young, Elder Law Attorney, will hold a workshop in Walnut Creek on Thurs. Nov. 3, 2011 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. In the workshop, Mr. Young will discuss long term care planning for the older client and their families. He will discuss how to plan for and pay for in home care, assisted living facility and board and care costs, and how to pay for nursing home costs. He will cover how to plan for and obtain Medi-Cal for nursing home costs. He will also discuss how to plan for and obtain the VA Aid & Attendance Pension Benefit for wartime veterans and surviving spouses, which can help pay for in home care, board and care and assistant living facilities.
