Concord Schools Get New Principals
Ygnacio Valley Elementary, Ayers Elementary, Mt. Diablo High and Ygnacio Valley High all have new principals after reassignments in the district.
The Mount Diablo Unified School District has made some staffing reassignments and now four Concord schools have new principals, reports the Contra Costa Times.
Linn Kissinger, a former teacher at El Monte Elementary School in Concord and finalist in the 2009-10 county teacher of the year awards, is now principal of Ygnacio Valley Elementary.
The former principal of Cambridge Elementary, Liane Cismowski, is now principal at Mt. Diablo High in Concord.
Stephen Brady has been made principal at Ygnacio Valley High after serving as vice principal at Northgate High.
Susan Petersen, former director of elementary education in the district, is now principal at Ayers Elementary in Concord.
