Concord High Wins NCS Division II Softball Championship

The fifth seeded Minutemen pull off another upset, defeating third seeded Petaluma High to capture the title

Concord High School pulled off one last upset Saturday evening to capture the NCS Division II softball crown.

The fifth seeded Minutemen defeated third seeded Petaluma High, 2-1, in the title game played at San Marin High School.

Concord had already beaten top seeded Newark Memorial High earlier in the week to advance to the finals.

Both Concord and Petaluma finished the season with 24-4 records.
