BART Expects Weekend Delays for the Rest of 2012

Seismic safety and track maintenance work will cause weekend delays in train service in four areas, including between Lafayette and Concord, for the remainder of this year.

BART riders should be prepared for delays in weekend service in four locations – including between Lafayette and Concord – until the end of December, the transit agency said Tuesday.

The delays are due to seismic safety work and needed track maintenance, BART said.
