Walnut Creek Councilman Encourages Vote on Charter and a Financial Analysis of the MDUSD

Councilman Kish Rajan, assembly member Susan Bonilla and state senator Mark DeSaulnier want the MDUSD board to vote on the charter petition and have a fiscal analysis of the district.

At Tuesday's Mt. Diablo Unified School District board meeting, Walnut Creek Councilman Kish Rajan read a letter encouraging a vote on Clayton Valley High's charter proposal and an independent fiscal analysis of the MDUSD.

Along with Rajan, the letter was signed by Assemblymember Susan Bonilla and state Senator Mark DeSaulnier.

Note: In the of the MDUSD board meeting Tuesday, it was incorrectly reported that Rajan was asking for an independent fiscal analysis of Clayton Valley's charter proposal. He was instead asking for an analysis of the district.
