Voter Registration Deadline is Midnight Oct. 22
Californians who want to participate in the Nov. 6 election have only a few days left to register. The deadline is midnight Monday, Oct. 22, 2012.
Californians must register to vote by Monday, Oct. 22 if they want to cast a ballot in the Nov. 6 election.
Voter registration applications must be submitted by midnight 15 days before the election. The official California voter registration application can be submitted online at RegisterToVote.ca.gov. Paper applications are available at post offices, public libraries and many government offices.
Online applications must be submitted by midnight on the Oct. 22 deadline. Applications submitted online will be time-stamped. Postmarks are used to verify the timely submission of paper applications.
