Mark Davis, the owner of the Oakland Raiders, visited Concord recently to see if the former naval weapons station could become a new home for his football team.
According to Matier and Ross in the San Francisco Chronicle, Davis likes that the site is close to the North Concord BART station. Raiders fans are concentrated in the East Bay and 30 percent take the train to games.
