Concord planning commissioners will discuss a proposal tonight to demolish the McDonald's restaurant on Clayton Road and replace it a new one.
The fast-food operators want to tear down the existing restaurant at 4550 Clayton Road so they can build a new 4,010-square-foot restaurant with a 784-square-foot playground and a reconfigured drive-through window.
The restaurant owners are asking the planning commissioners for a use permit. The project has been approved by the city's Design Review Commission.
The Planning Commission agenda for tonight can be found here.
