Federal funding is available for projects and programs that serve low-income residents in Concord.
To decide how the funds will be spent, the City of Concord and the Contra Costa Consortium are seeking community input through an online survey at www.cccounty.us/conplan.
The deadline to take the survey is June 30.

Antioch, Concord, Pittsburg, Walnut Creek, and Contra Costa County receive federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funds.
Additionally, the county receives Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Homeless Continuum of Care (CoC) funding every year. Over a 5-year period, these funds will total over $90 million.

Concord’s share of the funding is currently used for improving accessibility of sidewalks and curb ramps, housing rehabilitation, multi-family housing code enforcement, and providing grants to local non–profit organizations that provide services and programs to low-income residents.
