Healthy Lifestyle and Resource Fair at
Concord Senior Center
Promoting good health awareness and encouraging participants to assume responsibility for their own health is the goal of the Healthy Lifestyle and Resource Fair set for Friday, March 9 from 10a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Concord Senior Center, 2727 Parkside Circle.
The fair will provide education and awareness about services, resources and products that benefit older adults, their families and caregivers. Over 35 service providers, government agencies and vendors will be available to answer questions about housing, transportation, home care, health services and recreational classes and activities.
Interactive group sessions will connect participants and local healthcare resources. Sessions will also offer the participants the opportunity to sample a wide range of fitness activities, understand the basics of healthy eating and learn how to maintain emotional and mental health.
Health screenings for blood pressure, hearing, vision, bone heel scan and memory will be available to fairgoers.
