Election Filing Period Begins

Candidates for Concord and Clayton city council seats can now take out nomination papers

Candidates are now officially off and running.

The filing period for candidates on the Nov. 6 general election ballot began on Monday. Office seekers have until Aug. 10 to file their papers. If races where no incumbent files, challengers will have until Aug. 15 to file.
