Contra Costa County Hiring Politicos

The Elections Division is hiring poll workers, especially bilingual ones.

The Contra Costa County Elections Divisions needs poll workers to help during the November 2013 election, announced Scott Knonopasek, Assistant County Registrar.

Prior experience is not required.  Applicants must be registered voters in California. Poll workers will earn $80-$150 for working on November 5, 2013 from 6 a.m.-9 p.m.  

High school students who are at least 16 with a 2.5 GPA can apply for the job, according to the Contra Costa County Elections Division.  

The Elections Division is encouraging county and state employees to apply for the role of Inspector.  Bilingual workers are needed.  Poll workers will be deployed to Moraga, Antioch, and San Ramon.
