As we look ahead to November’s elections, Concord Patch is devoted to bringing you the information you need about the elections in Concord and Clayton. Here's our start on the races we'll be covering as November draws near. Bookmark this page for updates.
Candidate filing documents may be obtained at either the Contra Costa Elections Department or the Clayton City Clerk's office, depending on the race. The filing period began July 16 and ends on Aug. 10. For elections where no incumbent files, the deadline is extended until Aug. 15.

Open seats: Mayor Howard Geller, Vice Mayor Joe Medrano and Councilwoman Julie Pierce.
