City Council to Review Clayton Road Landscaping

Proposal for Clayton Road median includes coast live oak trees, lighting, irrigation system improvements

The greening of the Clayton Road median strip will move ahead if city council members approve landscaping plans at their meeting Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. in Hoyer Hall, , 6125 Clayton Rd.

City staff members are recommending the addition of five live oak trees, accompanied by LED lighting for illumination, to the plans for landscaping the median. Other plantings and an improved irrigation system are also part of the proposal.

The plan carries the recommendation of the Trails and Landscaping Committee.
