Woman jumped into waiting taxi, although it appears taxi driver was unaware of the crime.

A woman was arrested on suspicion of robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Concord and then trying to flee in a waiting taxi cab this morning, a police sergeant said.

The robbery was reported at 9:08 a.m. at the bank located at 775 Oak Grove Road, said Concord police Sgt. Michael Finney.

Officers arrived within minutes and were notified that a female suspect had gotten into a taxi that was leaving the area, Finney said.
