Vehicle Hits Gas Meter at Mobile Home Park Causing Small Leak

The incident took place around 5 p.m. Tuesday at 1080 San Migeul Road.

A vehicle struck a gas meter at a mobile home park in Concord today causing a small gas leak, a PG&E spokesman said.

The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District reported that the vehicle had hit a gas meter at trailer number 138 in the Sunny Acres Mobile Home Park at 1080 San Miguel Road at 5:18 p.m., PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

Service crews arrived and made repairs to the gas line. Guidi said they were still picking up a slight gas reading in the area and were checking to see if there was any impact to underground gas lines.

Gas service was interrupted to the single mobile home.
