The California Highway Patrol has cleared an injury crash that blocked a portion of state Highway 242 in Concord this afternoon.
The crash was first reported on Highway 242 just south of state Highway 4 at about 2:35 p.m., CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.
Two left lanes were blocked on the southbound side for about 45 minutes, and injuries were reported, Bartlett said.
Traffic remained heavy in the area as of 3:15 p.m. and motorists were being advised to take alternate routes.
