Significant Spike in This Week's Concord Police Burglary Report

Thirty three burglaries made it into this week's Concord Police report, with 15 of them being related to vehicles and 13 residential.

The weekly burglary map this week looks a lot busier then most weeks, which usually average around the high teens.

The latest burglary report from  shows 33 reported burglaries within city limits in the last seven days - nearly double the usual numbers.

Here's a break down of the reported burglaries:

  • 15 vehicle burglaries 
  • 13 residential burglaries
  • 5 commercial burglaries

The above numbers, taken from the attached report, may exclude burglaries still under investigation or those of which the status remains pending, according to the Concord Police Department.

Additionally, it is possible burglaries reported to CPD Wednesday night did not make the department's Thursday cut-off time for the delivery of this specific report .
