Just before 6 p.m. Sunday on Solono Way, Lindborg entered the roadway to rescue her dog and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Concord youth. As the juvenile stopped to check on Lindborg, who lay injured in the roadway, Lindborg was struck by a second vehicle, driven by Summers that also was travelling southbound on Solano Way. Summers pulled to the side of the road and had a short conversation with the 17-year-old male before fleeing the scene.
Summers was booked and released pending further investigation. Anyone with further information regarding the collision can contact Corporal Eric Olson at 925-671-5096
