Police Seek Suspects in Concord Man's Slaying

A $5,000 reward is offered for identifying two men who shot a man at his front door.

Concord police are offering a $5,000 reward for help in identifying two men suspected of killing a Concord man last year in his home.

According to Lt. Brandon Richey, the two suspects knocked on the door of a residence in the 3100 block of Baker Drive. The resident answered the door and an altercation broke out. A shot was fired, and the man who answered the door died at the scene.

The suspects were confronted by the victim's roommate, and they fled in a vehicle driven by a third individual, driving off on Baker Drive toward North Sixth Street.

The two suspects are described as follows:

  • #1 - A black male, teenager to early 20s, 6 feet tall, wearing dark clothing. (See sketch.)
  • #2 - A white or Hispanic male in his 20s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, also in dark clothing. (See sketch.)

The vehicle was described as a dark sedan.
