Police Arrest Suspect in Three Armed Robberies
Concord man is in jail after Pleasant Hill police arrest him in connection with local robberies.

Police arrested a Concord man on Thursday in connection with three armed robberies in Pleasant Hill and Concord over the past two weeks.
Pleasant Hill detectives Thursday arrested Daniel David Nebout, 20, at a home in the 3900 block of Mulberry Drive in Concord, police said.

He is suspected of brandishing a hammer in two separate armed robberies at two Wells Fargo banks -- the first located at 699 Contra Costa Blvd. in Pleasant Hill on Jan. 24 and the second on Clayton Road in Concord on Jan. 30, according to police.
Police believe Nebout also robbed a Subway restaurant located at 1300 Contra Costa Blvd. on Jan. 24, about an hour after the first bank robbery.

In that incident, the suspect and another male allegedly used a tire iron or other steel object to threaten a female cashier, then demanded cash and fled the area.
The suspect was booked into county jail in Martinez on $200,000 bail, according to police.
It was unclear whether the money stolen in the three incidents has been recovered.
