Photo: Roads Blocked as PG&E Fixes Pole

Bad weather knocked down trees, weakened power pole.

Emergency responders had a busy afternoon Tuesday in Concord as bad weather added its weight to routine 9-1-1 calls.

A power pole, pictured above, was hanging by its cables around 4:15 p.m. as PG&E worked to fix it. Concord Police set up road blocks at Reganti Drive, near the felled-pole, and the Monument Boulevard intersection.

A PG&E crew shut down power to the lines while working to fix the pole.
