Bay City News — One man was injured in a shooting outside of party at an  in Concord Saturday evening, police said.

Police responded to reports of the shooting shortly after 11:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Clayton Road, Concord police Lt. Darrell Graham said. As guests at the party were leaving, a few began shooting, and a 19-year-old Antioch resident was hit in the calf.

He was taken to the Concord campus of the John Muir Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. Police interviewed him at the hospital early this morning. Police believe the man was not the intended target of the gunfire.

Graham said that there are no suspects in the shooting, but it appears that at least two people fired guns as police found shell casings from at least two different guns. There were between 100 and 200 people in the area when police arrived on the scene, making narrowing down potential suspects difficult, Graham said.
