Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene. An autopsy is being conducted today to determine his cause of death, Lee said. The man's name has not been released pending notification of his relatives.

Lee said the man was found near a homeless encampment where 47-year-old Jeremy Nagle was strangled to death on Dec. 5. Another homeless man, 38-year-old James Riley, allegedly fought with Nagle before his death. He was arrested and has been charged with murder in connection with the killing.
