Police Want Your Help Identifying Thursday Bank Robber in Concord

Suspect fled in a brown, four-door Toyota Thursday around 10 a.m. after robbing the Diamond Boulevard branch of Bank of the West.

Concord police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect of a 10 a.m. Thursday bank robbery in Concord:

The following information is from the Concord Police Department:

CONCORD, CA (February 16, 2012) – At approximately 1000 AM, Officers were dispatched to the Bank of the West, 1969 Diamond Boulevard, regarding a bank robbery.

The suspect had entered the bank and handed a teller a threatening demand/robbery note. After receiving the money from the teller, the suspect left the bank and fled to a brown 4-door Toyota sedan which was parked nearby.

The Toyota sedan was last seen travelling northbound on Interstate 680 from Willow Pass Road.      

No further information is being released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.

The Concord Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the robbery suspect from the attached bank surveillance photos.
