Firefighters Put Out One-Alarm House Fire

A home on the 1800 block of Florence Lane caught fire early this morning.

Firefighters extinguished a one-alarm house fire in Concord early this morning, a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District dispatcher said.

The blaze was reported at a home in the 1800 block of Florence Lane at 1:21 a.m.

Crews arrived to find the home's garage in flames, and reported the possibility of downed power lines next to the home, the dispatcher said.

Firefighters were able to control the blaze in about 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
