Firefighters contained a fire to the attic of a Concord apartment building this morning, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
The fire at 1160 Meadow Lane was reported at 9:16 a.m., a fire dispatcher said.
A two-alarm response was initially called but firefighters canceled the second alarm after containing the fire to the building's attic, according to the fire department.
