Pictures submitted by a reader over at Claycord capture the ravenous force of a mobile home fire on Welcome Avenue early Saturday morning.

The fire started at 11:52 p.m. Friday just off San Miguel Road, according to the Contra Costa Fire Protection District, and was extinguished by 12:18 a.m. Saturday. No one was injured, although the Contra Costa Times reports that someone "collapsed in grief" at the scene.

Another trailer was threatened by the fire, but crews were able to protect it from damage.
