Dogs Die in Clayton Fire, $150K in Damage to Home

Residents weren't inside their Clayton home during fire, but two of five dogs who were did not survive, according to media reports.

Two dogs died in a house fire in Clayton early Tuesday evening that also left approximately $150,000 worth of damages, according to media reports.

Though transported to the hospital, the family was not inside the Four Oaks Lane home during the 6 p.m. fire - but five dogs were, according to a Contra Costa Times report.
