Concord Teen, 15, Arrested On Suspicion of Stabbing Another 15-Year-Old

The stabbing victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after a fight on Virginia Lane Thursday evening.

Police arrested a 15-year-old Concord male Thursday night after he allegedly stabbed another 15-year-old during a fight.

The fight happened in the 1100 block of Virginia Lane at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 25, according to Concord police. 

The stabbing victim was taken to a local hospital where he was admitted with non-life threatening injuries, say police. The other male was arrested and taken to juvenile hall.

No identifying information for either of the teens is being released due to the ages of the suspect and victim, and any further information about the case is being withheld "to protect the integrity of the investigation," according to the Concord Police Department. Details of the incident may be released by at a later date.
