Concord Police Investigating Possible Homicide on Glenside Court

Woman's death called "suspicious," police investigating as possible murder.

Concord police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a vacant home in the 2900 block of Glenside Court Tuesday afternoon as a possible homicide, a police deparment spokesperson said Tuesday night.

According to a press release from Lt. Steve Dyer of the major crimes unit, officers went to the residence at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to conduct a security check and found the body of a deceased woman inside.

Detectives are investigating the suspicious death as a homicide and are currently following up on several leads, Dyer said.

He said no further details were being released Tuesday night.
