Concord Police Arrest Snapshot: Sept. 28 to Oct. 3

This snapshot from the Concord Police Department tallies 72 arrests in the past week by type of charge and the arrestee's city of residence.

The following information is taken from the Concord Police Department's weekly arrest report. Names and full addresses have been omitted for privacy reasons. An arrest does not represent a conviction until determined in court.

How many arrests were there this week? There were 72 arrests listed in the Concord Police Department's report for Sept. 28 to Oct. 3.

Who was arrested? A total of 35 arrestees were from Concord, making up the majority of arrests. Eight transients were arrested. Six arrestees came from Pleasant Hill and six came from Walnut Creek. Five were from Antioch. 

What they were arrested for? The charges with the highest number of arrests were DUIs and being in possession of a controlled substance.
