Concord Man Arrested in Drug Bust, $16K of Meth Found in Car

Juan Jacobo-Lopez, 29, of Concord, and Adalid Ortiz-Juarez, 24, of Walnut Creek, were arrested in Oregon by the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team last Thursday.

Concord resident Juan Jacobo-Lopen, 29, and Adalid Ortiz-Juarez, 24, of Walnut Creek, were arrested last Thursday in Madras, Ore., about two and a half hours south east of Portland, after drug enforcement officials seized $16,000 worth of methamphetamine from the their car.

The drug bust conducted by the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team also found $14,500 in cash, believed to be from earlier drug deals, KTVZ.com has reported.

KTVZ.com reports that the two remain in custody as suspected illegal immigrants.
