A 33-year-old man was arrested Sunday evening on suspicion of drunken driving after crashing his car into a Concord home's fence, a police corporal said.
Police got a call of the crash at a house near the intersection of Pepper Avenue and Garden Drive at 6:31 p.m. Sunday, Concord police Cpl. Jim Nielsen said.
Officers arrived on the scene and arrested the driver, Concord resident Onesifero Covarrubias, for allegedly driving his 2006 Honda Accord while under the influence.
No injuries were reported in the crash, although the home's fence and the suspect's car sustained significant damage.
The incident remains under investigation.
