Concord Homeowner Loses $15K of Belongings in Burglary

At least one burglar stole $15,000 worth of property from a home in Concord on Friday, police said today.

When the homeowner in the 800 block of San Miguel Road returned to his home after work on Friday evening, he noticed his front door was open, Concord police said.

The homeowner had locked all windows and doors before leaving for work in the morning, but someone forced entry through a side yard entrance, police said.

The home had been ransacked and a camera, coin collection and miscellaneous coins were missing, police said.
