Body Found in Concord Parking Lot Deemed Suicide

Update from Concord Police: Tuesday at 12:33 p.m

"Detectives located evidence at the scene indicating that the victim’s death was the result of a suicide. 

This is still an on-going investigation and no additional details will be released at this time."

A man was found dead in a car parked at a Concord senior center Monday morning, police said. At 11:34 a.m. officers responded to the Concord Senior Center at 2727 Parkside Circle on reports that a possibly dead person was sitting in a car there, police said.

They found the body of a 52-year-old Concord resident. Police are still investigating the man's cause of death and have not released his name pending notification of his family.
